Sports are good for team spirit. Players quickly learn they have to work together to score a goal or make a try, it’s a group sport and by pulling together as a team they can make a massive difference.
Team sports are good for group participation, get your child involved and they’ll work hard to win a trophy for the team and might just earn an individual badge!
Sporting activities are healthy for children too, especially when games are played outdoors. Fresh air and exercise is a positive mix, get kids interested in sport, use badges as incentives if you have to!
Team games are also useful for extending peer groups. It’s a positive way to introduce children to new friends. You feel like you belong when you are part of a team, you make new buddies, they’re your team mates but your pals as well, some of which could become friends for life.
